My focus is on understanding, acceptance and strengths. Rather than trying to change who my clients are, my counselling supports them to better understand themselves and feel more comfortable in the world around them.

The Yurt in the large, leafy garden provides a unique welcoming atmosphere where my clients can freely express themselves at their own pace and feel valued without fear of judgment.

I am proud to offer a SAFE space where my clients can choose to either talk, think, create, play, bake, garden, walk or just simply be either inside in the Yurt or outside in our Garden, as the power of nature alone can be healing.

Every person’s brain works differently, so my counselling is shaped around my clients individual needs. There will never a pressure to communicate in one ‘right’ way.

Counselling Services

I provide a range of counselling services tailored to support the emotional well-being of my clients including individual sessions, workshops & working with parents in support of their children. Whatever method of support my clients choose, I tend to work with our clients to achieve :-

Emotional Understanding
During sessions, I encourage clients to explore their feelings and reactions, fostering a deeper understanding of themselves and their experiences. This approach empowers individuals to feel more confident and positive about who they are.

Coping Strategies
I can work collaboratively with my clients to develop effective coping strategies to help manage worries, big feelings and overwhelming emotions. Together we can design individual tools that work for each client to help them navigate life's challenges.

Navigating Relationships
I can gently guide clients in navigating their relationships, whether they be friendships, family dynamics, or school / work interactions, fostering healthier connections and effective communication.
Creative Expression

In the relaxed environment, clients can engage in creative activities (which can include painting, arts & crafts, sand work, baking etc etc), that allow them to express their emotions and thoughts in comfortable and natural ways, promoting self-discovery & healing.

About me
My name is Pippa Alexander
MBACP, Dip. Couns CPCAB
I have over 20 years’ experience working with children & young people. I began by caring for children at the Sunrise & Sunset Clubs (which I founded in 2006). It was here that I studied the importance of play & learnt how to develop unique environments that psychologically suited children & encouraged Free Play. With my curiosity ignited, I then further studied psychotherapy. So now I work with children, young people & adults in a therapeutic capacity. Over the years, I have developed the ability to skilfully integrate therapeutic approaches, nature & play, adapting each to the needs of each individual. This has given me a unique ability to deeply understand and support my clients.
